Odgers Interim expands Consumer team
Odgers Interim has appointed consultant Zoe Wakeham to lead its support for consumer goods businesses in the North of England and in the Midlands.
Zoe will work with consumer management teams to place interim managers into senior roles – from the supply chain, procurement and marketing functions to HR and finance. Interims are typically hired for their industry experience and specialist knowledge to help businesses through particular periods of transition, crisis or change.
Zoe began her career with Badenoch & Clark where she spent almost a decade matching interims with IT, marketing & communications and procurement and supply chain positions.
Before joining Odgers, Zoe further developed her network and expertise in the consumer industry with Langley, where she placed interim candidates into procurement and supply chain roles across the UK.
Zoe Wakeham, Consultant within the Consumer Practice at Odgers Interim, said: “The North of England and Midlands have a proud history in manufacturing and food and drink, which have witnessed a revival in recent years and will no doubt play a key role in the future economic development of the regions.
“We now see a growing and healthy demand from management teams to bring in external support in these industries. As businesses look to capitalise on market conditions, experienced industry professionals can provide the trusted pair of hands needed to deliver and oversee change.”
Grant Speed, Managing Director of Odgers Interim, said: “We’re excited to welcome Zoe to our Leeds team and provide more support for our clients in the consumer sector.
“It’s a great time to invest in the industry and expand our network of contacts. There’s a growing demand for managerial experience across the UK and I’m confident we can provide the best quality candidates to tackle any challenges that lie ahead.”
