Interim management delivers 'significant' benefits
Interim executive recruitment is a "cost-effective solution" that can deliver organisations "significant" business returns.
That is the view of the business services firm Clarendon Group, which has advised companies implementing major new projects to consider the executive employment situation as an alternative to traditional recruitment.
Outlining the benefits of interim management, the Northern Ireland-based organisation explained to the Belfast Telegraph that executives in this labour market are experienced in operating within transition teams and can accelerate critical improvements.
Ciaran Sheehan, managing director of Clarendon Group, said that interim managers can "inject new impetus" into businesses.
He told the newspaper: "Interim managers are individuals who have made a career choice to specialise in a specific business discipline. [They] could be the tool to ensure that your business remains on track."
This view was supported by Paul Botting, managing director of Odgers Interim Commercial, last month, who suggested that more businesses are now choosing to appoint interim management teams.
