Worldwide change management study launched

4 April 2013

Research firm Prosci is inviting executives to contribute to a major global study of change management.

The company has launched its eighth Best Practices in Change Management benchmarking study, which will aim to investigate the commonly cited industry statistic that 70 per cent of all change projects end in failure.

As well as this topic, the report will explore how organisations in different sectors deal with overwhelming change, how change management job roles are incorporated and how budgeting decisions are made.

Prosci has called for business leaders, project managers, team members and consultants to share their "project stories, perspectives and experiences" for the study, which will be published in 2014.

"This information will be used by thousands of practitioners to support and improve their own change projects," the company said in a statement.

Contributions to the research can be made until May 10th this year.  According to Prosci, more than 2,600 respondents from 65 countries have participated in previous versions of the study.
