UK firms 'increasing sales outsourcing investments'

11 June 2012

British businesses are increasingly turning to outsourcing models when considering the best way of handling sales and marketing operations.

This is according to direct sales business Success Outsourced Solutions, which has experienced an upturn in demand for its services in recent months that is expected to persist into 2012 and 2013.

James Neal, managing director for the London-based organisation, said this trend is occurring due to businesses becoming keener to minimise their outgoings while increasing revenue.

As such, allying with independent partners in this area is regarded as a means of bolstering in-house efforts to expand their business, allowing them to benefit from access to external expertise.

"Direct sales are a proven system for getting immediate, quality results, whilst creating lasting relationships with customers through a professional and personal approach," he explained.

Earlier this month, a report from KPMG suggested that many businesses are also seeking to adopt shared service models as an alternative to more traditional outsourcing.
