Suresh Lal from Odgers Interim helped us find an Interim Finance Director for a period of 6 months. The situation arose where the prior finance director was moving on but this wasn’t a situation where we wanted a like for like replacement. What was necessary was someone with far greater treasury management and board skills. Suresh suggested that we should employ Grant Shipley due to having an excellent background in this space. Grant was able to not only shore up our finance team including the recruitment of critical staff but also give us strategic advice around commercial purchase and sales activity moving forward. I approached Suresh as we have worked together previously under a similar set of circumstances in another part of my organisation where we had another successful outcome. I have complete trust in his ability to find us the right fit.
