Jason Peetsma is responsible leading all aspects of the executive interim management business nationally and is a member of Odgers Berndtson’s global Interim management business. He plays a crucial role in supporting Odgers Berndtson’s strategic growth with responsibility for service delivery, sales and business development, client relationship management and overall P&L ownership. With over a decade of broad search experience he has assisted many organizations in Canada and abroad attract and retain distinctly innovative and enduring leadership.
Jason’s entrée to search was preceded by a successful career in the professional services industry as a Managing Director for a global management consulting firm spending time in London, New York, and Toronto where he was responsible for general management of the firms operations and later advancing the firm’s international recruiting strategy.
Prior to his career in professional services, Jason spent time with Solicitor General of Canada in Ottawa and Toronto.
He is a member of the board of directors of the Toronto Humane Society, an organization dedicated to promoting the humane care and protection of all animals. Additionally he is a member of Canadian Board Diversity Council.
Jason earned a Masters of International Relations and Global Politics with distinction from the University of Windsor and the University of Michigan and a B.A Honours also with distinction from the University of Western Ontario. He is certified in Hogan Assessments from the American Psychological Association and is a frequent speaker about issues relating to leadership. He has written numerous articles on talent management and his advice has been featured in publications as diverse as the Globe & Mail, National Post, BBC, and News Weekly.
